Peer Review Process

To maintain international academic rigor and scientific integrity, ZHN enforces a strict double-anonymous peer review protocol. All submitted manuscripts are subjected to preliminary editorial screening to assess scope alignment, originality, structural completeness, and ethical compliance (following ICMJE and COPE guidelines). Submissions passing desk review are assigned to a minimum of two independent international experts in the relevant biomedical or health technology domain. Review criteria focus on methodological soundness, scientific novelty, data reproducibility, clarity of presentation, and translational healthcare impact.
