Publication Frequency

EduCore: Journal of Cognitive and Foundational Learning (EJCFL) is published biannually (2 issues per year: June and December), employing an online-first publication model to facilitate rigorous peer evaluation and immediate open-access dissemination.

Peer Review Process

To maintain international academic rigor and scientific integrity, EJCFL enforces a strict double-anonymous peer review protocol. All submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary desk evaluation by the Editorial Board to assess scope alignment, theoretical grounding, ethical compliance (including human subject research protections), and plagiarism index metrics. Manuscripts passing desk review are assigned to a minimum of two independent international experts specializing in cognitive psychology, educational neuroscience, or foundational learning. Review criteria center on theoretical depth, methodological precision, statistical rigor, empirical validity, and actionable implications for cognitive and foundational education.
