Peer Review Process

To maintain international academic standards, econometric precision, and methodological excellence, AEI enforces a strict double-anonymous peer review protocol. All submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening to assess scope relevance, empirical soundness, data integrity, and similarity index thresholds. Manuscripts meeting desk requirements are assigned to a minimum of two independent international experts specializing in applied econometrics, macro/microeconomics, or relevant subfields. Review criteria center on empirical and econometric rigor, reproducibility of results, clarity of exposition, theoretical relevance, and practical value for economic policymaking and business practice.

Mission Statement: "The mission of Applied Economic Insights is to advance the global application of economic science by publishing rigorous, data-driven research, translating theoretical economic insights into actionable policy solutions, and providing open-access scholarship to support resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economic development worldwide."
